About Industrial Arts Brewing Company:

IABC opened its doors in 2016 at our historic Garnerville NY site.  To keep pace with our rapid growth we secured a new location in Beacon, NY at the end of 2018 and are now fully moved into our new home. Our Beacon facility is a 70,000 sq ft purpose built state of the art facility with a 100 hL custom brewhouse and a modern, flexible and efficient packaging line.  We pride ourselves on quality, efficiency, and safety. This includes maintaining our facility’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) certification.

Full-Time Positions at Industrial Arts Brewing Company:


PACKAGING OPERATOR

Job Summary:

The Packaging Operator is responsible for all facets of packaging operations, including keg cleaning, filling, can line operations, labeling and date coding, CIP, and quality assurance. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with previous canning experience. Also open to training a new team member just getting into the industry. 

Specific Responsibilities:

Responsibilities dependent on experience level at hire

  • Keg cleaning and filling 

  • Packing off and palletizing several thousand cases in a day

  • Can line operation: Depal, Filler, Dryer, Filtec, Date coder, Packtech, Cartoner, Tray Packer, Pasteurizer, labeler

  • Cleaning and sanitizing of packaging equipment and brewery facilities including routine maintenance and troubleshooting 

  • Handle dangerous chemicals according to safe practice, SDS, and IABC SOP’s

  • Changeovers of equipment and staging

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

  • Measuring Gravity, pH, O2, CO2 and N2. ATP and Gluten testing. Timely and accurate record keeping

  • Setting and maintaining proper head pressures

  • Proper organization, labeling, storage, and transportation of goods, and raw materials with attention to detail in batch rotation and FIFO

  • Recycling collection, organization, and packing for pickup

  • Adherence to safety rules, cGMP, Master Sanitation Schedule, and all relevant rules and regulations as outlined by IABC SOP’s and policies

Compensation Range:

$20.00 - 30.00 / hour


WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Job Summary:

The Warehouse/Packaging Operator will work in the ongoing inventory management, shipping/receiving, packaging, and general facilities and maintenance of the warehouse and common areas of Industrial Arts Brewing Company. The Warehouse/ Packaging Operator will report to the Supply Chain Manager and communicate regularly across multiple departments.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Maintains safe working practices at all times

  • Maintain a clean organized work area in adherence to our food safety plan and master sanitation plan

  • Loading and unloading of all outgoing and incoming trucks

  • Build and ship outgoing orders to our wholesale partners with strong attention to quality and FIFO

  • Weekly transfer of product to our taproom

  • Receive raw materials according to strict food-safety guidelines

  • Perform inventory counts of raw materials & finished goods as directed by the Supply Chain Manager

  • Occasionally use a company vehicle to transport material to and from local vendors and customers

  • Securing/organizing packaged product off of the production line into cold storage

  • Daily transfer of raw materials to the brewing department

  • Assist other departments as needed

Compensation Range:

$20.00 - 30.00 / hour


NY REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

Location:
Upper Hudson Valley, Capital Region, Western NY

Reports to:
IABC Sales Director 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Daily visits to on and off premise account base within the assigned footprint, with the objective of growing distribution and volume of our existing core portfolio and new innovations.

  • Provide a professional, comfortable and informative relationship for all customers within assigned footprint.

  • Track individual wholesaler performance across the footprint and review regularly with the Sales Director.

  • Track relevant wholesaler network expense, and profit goals with the Sales Director.

  • Manage wholesaler inventory to ensure no OOS and a well oiled flow of fresh product within the footprint.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly performance goals set by the Sales Director.

  • Manage the depletion of our limited release offerings within the assigned region.

  • Provide staff training and strategy on any new releases for relevant wholesale network.


Job Skills Required:

  • The ability to tell our brand and product story in a captivating manner.

  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, ability to learn and navigate our CRM iDig)

Experience Requirements: 
-21 years of age or older
-Prior experience in beer/beverage sales is a plus 

Schedule:

The anticipated schedule for this role is M-F, with the ability to work intermittent nights and weekends. 

Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift a case of beer, and maneuver kegs in a cold box. 

Compensation Range:

$55,000 - $70,000 plus quarterly commission
