Industrial Arts Brewing Company was founded in 2016 and continues to grow. We operate a 70,000 sq ft purpose built state of the art facility in Beacon, NY with a 100 hL custom brewhouse and a modern, flexible and efficient packaging line. We built our business on our great beer, but have now moved beyond beer and are proud of our variety of non-alcoholic products including non-alc beer and hemp-infused beverages. We pride ourselves on our quality, efficiency and focus on Food Safety including maintaining our current Good Manufacturing Practices certification. Job Description:
Industrial Arts serves food through a partnership with The Beacon Daily. Food is ordered at the bar and delivered to tables by a food runner while the food truck on site acts as our kitchen. Come join our combined team!

Packaging Operator
Hourly, Non-Exempt
Compensation package:
$20 - $30/hr depending on experience
Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

Anticipated schedule:
Roughly 40 hr/wk, overtime as necessary
Evenings and weekends as necessary
You’ll start your morning making sure our cGMP certified facility is clean and ready for operation, including completing our Master Sanitation Schedule documentation. Once the facility is up and running for the day you will be involved in all facets of packaging operations, including keg cleaning, filling, can line operations, labeling and date coding, clean-in-place, quality assurance, general facilities, maintenance, shipping and receiving of the packaging and warehouse areas.
A successful packaging operator will be able to effectively communicate across teams and be flexible about daily duties. We are looking for someone who can pivot quickly from task to task and take it all in stride. As a cGMP facility documentation and record keeping is critical, so IABC is interested in candidates with a love for detail and organization. While SOPs for all machinery will be provided and taught accordingly, the ability to anticipate Team and Product needs, and troubleshoot during production is also highly desirable.
Other necessary skills:
Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, ability to learn and navigate HMI’s)
Physical Requirements:
21 years or older
Able to twist, bend, kneel, work in a loud, wet factory environment every shift
Able to lift/carry 44-pound boxes daily and throughout shift
Able to regularly lift/carry 55-pound bags above waist level daily and throughout shift
Able to stack finished goods pallets- up to 2,000 cases in a day
Certifications/Licenses Required:
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
Forklift certification provided by employer
